Off Leash K9 Training is the most loved dog training company serving Jasper and Pickens County.
Jasper is the seat of Pickens County, and it is one of the main towns we serve. Our trainers travel here by appointment for private obedience lessons that teach you the commands alongside your dog. For a harder case, our aggressive dog hybrid program starts with lessons and moves on to board and train. Every program and price is on our plans and pricing page.
Why professional training is essential for Jasper dog owners
Behavior modification
Address jumping, pulling, barking, anxiety, and reactivity at the root, not just the symptom.
Safety & control
A dog that listens the first time is a safer dog around traffic, livestock, wildlife, and people.
Stronger bond
Clear communication builds trust, so your dog looks to you for direction instead of guessing.
Skills that transfer
We hand the training over to you at pickup, so the obedience keeps working at home.
Family harmony
A calm, well-mannered dog means a calmer home for kids, guests, and other pets alike.

Built for how Jasper dogs actually live
Jasper calls itself the First Mountain City, and Sharptop and Burnt Mountain are right there to prove it. It is also a small town, the kind where you run into people you know at Lee Newton Park or at the Georgia Marble Festival in October.
That makes a dog's manners everybody's business. A dog who jumps on visitors, bolts out the door or will not listen to anyone but one person in the family is hard to take anywhere. Good training should work for everyone at home, so we teach you the commands right along with your dog.
When a dog has gone past bad manners and is lunging at or threatening dogs or people, our hybrid program starts with four private lessons and a behavior evaluation. Then your dog boards with the trainer for one week or two weeks of work on what the trainer saw.

Owner Tyler Breh moved to Georgia in 2015 to start his law enforcement career, and spent most of it as a K9 handler. Since then he has trained in obedience, detection, bite work, tracking and decoy work with working-dog trainers across Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
He and his team of trainers work with dogs and their owners across North Georgia today.

What our clients say
“My dog will come even when my two year old daughter calls him now!”
“Ruby needed the 2 week refresher board and train to help reinforce basic commands and her on leash aggression towards other dogs.”
“Not only did Tyler do a great job bonding with and training King, he was also very patient and thorough when going over with us all of the commands King learned over his two weeks of training.”
Frequently asked questions
Do you serve Jasper and the rest of Pickens County?
Yes. Jasper is one of the main towns we serve, and our trainers travel to clients here by appointment. If you are out toward Tate or Talking Rock, call and we will tell you what works for your area.
How does the training keep working once the trainer leaves?
You learn it too. In Basic Obedience and Basic & Advanced Obedience, the trainer works one-on-one with you and your dog, and you practice between lessons. After a board and train you get a one-on-one handover session on every command and how to handle your dog.
My dog has gone after people or other dogs. Will you still work with us?
Yes. The aggressive dog hybrid program starts with four private lessons, where a professional trainer evaluates your dog's behavior. Then your dog boards with the trainer for one week ($1,650) or two weeks ($2,850). No trainer can honestly promise a complete fix for serious aggression, and we will not pretend to. Payment plans are available. Call us today to learn more about payment options.
Who will actually train my dog?
Owner and head trainer Tyler Breh, a former law enforcement K9 handler, or one of the trainers on his team. You can read more on our about page.
Will the e-collar hurt my dog?
No. At our first meeting we put the e-collar on your arm so you can feel how mild it is. We use it like a tap on the shoulder, to get your dog's attention, and it is never used as a punishment.
